1. Overview of Privacy Policy.
Aiki IT, its affiliates and the group’s partner companies (“We”, “Our”, or “Our”) recognize the need to protect and manage your personal information. We have therefore adopted this Privacy Statement to help you understand what information we collect, how this information is used and shared. This Privacy Statement applies to information we collect when you access any Aiki Informatique website, when you purchase or use an Aiki Informatique product, or when you provide non-public information to us. If you are an employee of Aiki Informatique, you can consult the employee-specific privacy policy found in your employee onboarding file. Before accessing any Aiki Informatique website, such as https://aikitech.ca, to purchase or use Aiki Informatique products or services, or to provide non-public information to Us, you should review this Privacy Statement to understand our practices for collecting and using information.
2. The information we collect.
We collect certain categories of information about you and the device you use, especially when you visit our websites but also when you use or purchase our products or when you provide us with information to send you newsletters and other communications.
In particular: Contact information: Contact information is information or data that can be used to identify or contact a specific person. For example, when you access our websites, we ask you to provide certain contact information when you create an account, such as your name, address, phone number, email address, login and password, contact preferences, educational and professional background. If you do not wish to provide the requested information, you may not be able to continue the activity or receive the benefits for which the personal information is requested. Payment Information: If you purchase a product or service from Aiki Informatique, you will need to provide us with payment information. This may include billing and transaction information, credit card number or other financial information that we may use to ensure the appropriate payment for the services you purchase. Device information: As with most websites, we collect certain information automatically and store it in log files. This information may include Internet Protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), landing/exit pages, operating system, date/time and/or click-through data. We may combine this automatically collected log information with other information we collect about you. Tracking and Location Information: We may collect and/or track certain information derived from the use of our products, such as usage patterns, travel patterns, visited web pages and traffic patterns. We can use this tracking and location information for statistical purposes to improve our products and services and help users manage their environment and infrastructure more efficiently.
Information about mobile devices: When our products are deployed on mobile devices via an Aiki IT application installed on the device, our servers automatically record information that may include: MAC (Media Access Controller) addresses the network card in or used with your devices; Web requests, Internet protocol addresses, phone numbers, browser types, browser languages, date and time of request and other information concerning Internet connection activities. In addition, the information collected and tracked depends on the system configurations chosen by the administrator and the options enabled by users, and may include device location, device ID and device username; the status of the mobile device’s SIM card; MAC addresses and serial numbers of the device; phone number, signal strength, cell tower, carrier, IMEI# and other WWAN attributes; the first and last name, the email address of the user of the device; check-out/check-in of the device; who uses which device and the physical state of the device at the beginning and end of a service; applications loaded on the device (excluding content); real-time tracking and mapping of the GPS position, including analysis of position data and history; or remote control of the mobile device, including screen capture. The administrator can perform partial or complete data deletion on users’ devices, including restoring the device to its factory settings. The mechanisms for monitoring smartphones and mobile devices work in the background of devices. People are informed that these functions may occur, but they may not be aware of their real-time performance.
Aiki Informatics Blog: If you use our blog or any community forum on our website, you should know that any personally identifiable information you submit can be read, collected or used by other users of these forums and could be used to send you unsolicited messages. We are not responsible for personally identifying information that you choose to submit in these forums. Although we are not responsible for personally identifying information that you choose to submit through these forums, we will make reasonable efforts to remove this information from our blogs or community forums or if we cannot do so and why, if you contact us through the online portal.
Images and photos: If you attend one of our live events, we can take your photograph, film or broadcast your image live. We retain the copyright and other intellectual property of photographs taken and/or digitized recordings belonging to Aiki Informatique. If you upload photographs or images to our live event applications, we may retain, store and/or use those photographs or images.
Information about data collected for our customers:
• Aiki IT collects information under the guidance of its customers and has no direct relationship with persons whose personal data are processed. If you are a customer of one of our customers and no longer wish to be contacted by one of our customers who uses our service, please contact the customer you are interacting with directly. We may transfer personal information to companies that help us provide our service. Transfers to subsequent third parties are covered by service agreements with our customers.
Access and retention of data controlled by our customers:
• We recognize that you have the right to access your personal information. Aiki Informatique has no direct relationship with the persons whose personal data are processed. A person who wishes to access his data, or who wishes to correct, modify or delete inaccurate data, must address his request to the company’s customer (the data controller). If data deletion is requested, we will respond within a reasonable time.
We will retain the personal data we process on behalf of our customers for as long as necessary to provide services to our customers. Aiki Informatique will keep this personal information if necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements.
3. Cookies and similar technologies.
Cookies are small text files placed on your computer, smartphone or other device when you visit a website. Like many other website operators, Aiki IT works with third-party service providers and partners (including marketing partners, customer service providers and others) to use cookies, tags and similar technologies for several purposes.
For example, these technologies are used to:

We may disclose any information we receive from you if we consider that such actions are necessary to respond to legal requests from government authorities, including to meet national security or law enforcement requirements. We may also disclose your personal information in accordance with the requirements of the law, for example in response to a subpoena or other legal proceedings, when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud or respond to government requests. If we are acquired or merged with a third party, you will be informed by email and/or on a visible location on our website of any change of ownership, use of your personal information and the choices you may have regarding your personal information.
6. Access to your personal information.

7. Third Party Sites and Services.
Our website also includes social networking features, such as the Facebook Like button and interactive widgets such as the Share button or mini-programs that work on our site. These features may collect information about your IP address, the page you visit on our site and may install cookies for the functionality to work properly. The features and widgets of social networks are either hosted by a third party or directly on our website, so your interaction with these features is regulated by these third parties’ privacy statements.
8. Retention of data.
We will keep your information as long as your account is active or as long as necessary to provide services to you. If you wish to cancel your account or request that we cease to use your information to provide services to you, contact us via the online portal. We will retain and use your information to the extent necessary to fulfill our legal obligations, resolve disputes and ensure compliance with our agreements.
9. Communication Preferences.
You can stop the delivery of advertising messages by e-mail or other AIKI messages by contacting AIKI via the online portal. In addition, when you purchase products or services from us, we may provide non-advertising messages related to those products or services, which cannot be cancelled if you do not stop using the product or service.

If we make Privacy Statement substantial changes to this Statement, we will notify you here, by email or via a notification on our homepage before the changes take effect.
